Annual AAMA Symposium

The American Academy of Medical Acupuncture is designing the 2022 Symposium to meet an expressed need to explore the mechanisms of acupuncture from several different perspectives and to examine current scientific research in the field of medical acupuncture. Surveys and evaluations from previous symposia indicate there is a desire for more information about acupuncture techniques that honor the rich history of Asian medicine as applied to the contemporary, Western medical practice. Medical practitioners with no experience as well as those with extensive backgrounds in acupuncture will find the program useful to their medical practices. The symposium committee is looking to our membership to broaden the variety and array of presentations in 2022. As much as we do our best to anticipate your needs by meticulously scrutinizing surveys from past meetings, we are now reaching out for ideas to the general membership – people who may not have attended a meeting in several years!.
