Every golfer follows a pre-shot routine, regardless of the difficulty of the shot. Similarly, I have developed a pre-writing routine that has become an essential part of my writing process. It involves finding a consistent workspace, ordering the same drink, adjusting my screen, watching a concert video, and using earbuds. As Peter DeVries once said, "I write when I'm inspired, and I ensure I'm inspired at nine o'clock every morning." Whether you prefer a structured routine or diving right into writing, the important thing is finding what works for you.
