Association for the Taxonomic Study of the Flora of Tropical Africa Congress Livingstone theme of the congress is diversity and conservation of African plants challenges and opportunities. This conference will consist of paper and poster presentations on topics in contemporary plant biology of Africa. The AETFAT congress addresses floristics, systematics, phytogeography, and conservation of the flora of Africa. The emphasis is on floristics and systematics as this gives the base-line information for any biodiversity research.
