American Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges Conference is the only national organization devoted solely to issues facing mathematics educators in the first two years of college. A major focus of AMATYC’s mission has been professional development. Another major focus is connecting members with one another. We have several committees and networks, each focused on a specific theme such as mathematical pathways, placement and assessment, innovative technology, developmental mathematics, statistics, technical math, and etc.
