I was sad to see all the breaches in the rules. NO VEHICLES allowed until 630 to setup on Thursday. Well that was not true, showed up at 615 and dozens and dozens of vehicles everywhere. NO PETS, well there were hundreds of pets ranging from ferrets to dogs and cats. NO GAS GENERATORS. Well there were at least 5 that I saw. YOU MUST STAY OPEN UNTIL 8 each day. Over a quarter were closed at 6 on day 1 and about the same closed up the second day. YOU MUST INCLUDE TN tax, this was not enforced. I got complaints from customers that why am I forcing it when others did not. I know you can't control everything but when you are told the basic rules of being a vendor and then as everything starts all the rules went out the window. Also, as a new vendor, I did not see one festival official both days.

Communication
The space was roomy, the partnering vendors were gracious and understanding, the sun did not interfere with my product. The bands made it difficult for me to communicate with customers. Not so many buyers and too many lookers, sales were ok for a 1st time, about 60% of my goals. The police and support cast were all helpful. About 7pm things were pretty dead. I appreciated the opportunity

I think the Chamber should offer parking to vendors. I was offered $50 parking when I arrived a special vendor price. Parking should be included in the $250 fee we pay. The fee is already on the higher side for this event.
