Better Data, Better Care: Understanding & Using Information To Support Care And Our Everyday Lives Conference

This conference follows the success of the General Adult Faculty Better Data, Better care conference in 2019, with the same vision of empowering jobbing clinicians to source, understand and analyse data in order to enable patients to receive better care.  The conference will be of interest to all RCPsych members, with specific workshops run by the Addictions, CAMHS, General Adult, Intellectual Disability, Old Age, Perinatal and Rehabilitation Faculties.  One of the key objectives of the .. continue reading conference is to increase awareness of the importance and power of data in the work that we do. Psychiatrists are key to influencing the services that they work for in order to enhance the information that is both recorded and used to support care and research.  This conference is designed as a regular series of events organised through the Informatics Committee and with the support of all of the RCPsych Faculties. Our aim is to support all psychiatrists with the right tools and skills to engage, analyse and understand data in order to develop and improve their services and advocate for more funding.
