American College of Rheumatology aim is to enhance the value and impact of rheumatology in a changing health care environment. The ACR provides professional education for its members through several venues. The Annual Scientific Meeting held each fall is the premier scientific meeting devoted to the rheumatic diseases. This meeting draws thousands of rheumatologists and arthritis health professionals from around the world. A winter rheumatology symposium spring clinical meetings and other topical conferences round out the ACRs educational offerings. The ACR offers a number of educational resources for rheumatologists and health professionals. These resources are offered in addition to our educational meetings recertification resources and other courses. The ACR Research and Education Foundation is advancing research and training to improve the health of people with rheumatic diseases.
