We learned that one of the vendors did not like that we were interacting with our customers and they were constantly coming over to tell us what we were doing wrong and that we should not be saying hello, good morning or talking to any of the customers walking by our booth. We like to have a LOT OF FUN and our customers LOVE to interact with us. Quite a few of the customers complimented us on our booth set up and how friendly and professional we were. So I ask you, Why would another vendor come over and tell us to stop having fun. It really put a damper on our excitement. We are a new business trying to get off the ground and the only way to do that is to invite customers into our booth. We love Alan Harvey events and are happy to be part of this community but I'm not sure what type of message the other vendor was trying to send. They were upset that we were having a great time in extreme heat conditions. I'm not sure how else to run a business if you don't invite your customers in

This was my first really big show and I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleased that it was so organized, the exhibitors next to me were helpful and kind and gave great advice for future shows.

The location is hard to find compared to previous years. Parking is not easy. So I parked at the TriRail station. Shuttle never came on time ( 11:20 am never showed up) so I took the 81 East (11:40 am) bus which was not close, but I walked a few blocks. I am a native Delray resident and have gone to this event for years. If you have any difficulties with walking a mile or more, do not go. The exhibitors were all high end artists, not as many crafts or amateurs as before. Very hot today. Crowded. Not as much room to stop and relax. Not as many community sponsored exhibitors. Nothing for children. I remember in the past more of a range of types of arts - now mostly big prices, big pieces, like the galleries….so I just walked through and did not find what I expected. Very few people buying anything.I was disappointed. I gave a rating of 3 because the artists were very good, but expensive. Not for the average person. A couple of police officers at the ends to help, but they were just st

The show was good. the layout was done very well. A decent number of people attend. Sales of art were poor as customers did not seem in a buying mood. possibly they needed their money for essential items.

Great set up on Friday. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate on Sunday. If it had, I would have been looking at a near record event.

Being an artist, I’ve learned that it’s best to maybe stick with the artists rather than the crafters because of the crowd it brings. I learned That red tide played a factor as well.

I feel it’s too hot for this show. Should be spring or other but I just wanted to get back in air conditioning.
