American Diabetes Association is a no for profit organization that was established in the year 1940 under the initiative of twenty eight physicians. The organization is headquartered in Alexandria Virginia in United States. The acronym of the organization is ADA. At present the Chair of the Board of Directors is L. Hunter Limbaugh and the Chief Executive Officer of the organization is Larry Hausner. The primary aim of the organization is to help the patients who are suffering from diabetes and research on curing and preventing diabetes. The organization hosts many vital events to spread consciousness among the general masses about the various effects of diabetes and the ways to prevent it. One of the upcoming events that will be hosted by the ADA is Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes. It is annual fundraising event that is hosted by ADA.

Vendors ok.Need food court with foods you tell us to eat so we can stay for the whole day. Books,Diabetes weightloss and What do I eat now are good. A workshop using the books to setup a schedule and a menu would have been nice.New studies/alternativ

Testing sites did not bring enough kits and individuals were asked to make appoints... Walk area could have been laid out a little better with wider walk space to accommodate the individuals in wheel chairs and slower moving

It was very difficult to listen to the doctor speakers with 3 other programs going on in the same room. Each of 4 areas had microphones and each fighting to be heard over one another and general crowd noise.

It was a bit chaotic, but not as bad as the times at Navy Pier. Good job staying away for there. There was not much on research being done or volunteers to participate is research studies.

The event to me was a success, but there should have been more vendors.In the last five years or so this event used to be very big, now it's grown smaller.

We did not had a table it was a miss communication but we could not di screenings because not electric power was provided. It was a great event.

I liked the event, but was promised a lapel pin for signing up and no one seemed to know about this. I liked the expo from 2015 better.
