The European Institute of Public Administration is among the leading centre of excellence on European integration and the new challenges for public management. The organization was founded in 1981 with an aim to support the European Union and its Member States and the countries associated with EIPA by providing relevant and high quality services to develop the capacities of public officials in dealing with EU affairs. They organize a number of conferences, seminars and other events with an aim to achieve their goal. Their services are characterised by a multidisciplinary learning methodology and a strongly comparative approach. Based in Maastricht the organization extends their services in other regions also.
