Folk Alliance International is an organization that serves as the headquarters for folk music and dance. The acronym of the organization is FAI. This organization helps in the development and promotion of the traditional contemporary and multicultural folk music and dance. It also helps the other sectors and arts associated with it to develop and grow significantly. FAI was incorporated in the year 1989. The main aim of this organization is to strengthen the initiative taken by an individual or an organization in the field and encourage them and support them to continue with the work. Folk Alliance Conference hosted by this organization educates and helps the professionals to network and develop in the field.
