Green Roofs for Healthy Cities is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1999 as a network of public and private organizations. The acronym of the organization is GRHC. Jeffery Bruce is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the organization. It promotes the green roof technologies that bring significant social economic and environmental advantages to the cities and to the owners of the buildings it brings a proven return on their investment. GRHC offers and organizes many conferences and seminars that create awareness among the public regarding Green roofs and their benefits. It works to make a good and healthy environment to live in. The green roof also adds to the aesthetic beauty of the building and creates a green space on top of any building. GRHC will organize the 10th Annual Green Roof and Wall Conference in Chicago in October.
