I attended the 2nd workshop. The topic changed and the focus was on pancreatic cancer. I was reassured when I registered this morning that the original topic would be discussed. I did not feel that it was addressed according to the workshop description. I know that things can happen last minute and the presenter did a nice job presenting the results, but the execution of the remainder of the workshop did not meet expectations. The engagement was low and many people left the WS. The temperature of the room was very dismal and it took the hotel some time to fix the issue. I ended up leaving the WS early and felt that the money spent on the event was not worth it.

Well run event. Content was heavily skewed towards self-promoting company presentations and less so on the issues and paths forward in this new field. Convening panel discussions focused on key areas would have been more useful.
