In 1966 the Kortrijk municipality started to build a new exhibition complex in Kortrijk Zuid beside the future exit of the planned E3 motorway. The Town Council decided to concede the management of the premises to a special association to be set up for that purpose representing all the interest groups of the region. Show Less
