Art Basel was very high end, concentrating on well established artists and re-discovering artists from the 50's and 60's, with little room for emerging younger artists/galleries or mid sized already established galleries. a bit of an imbalance!

It was a wonderful fair. Only thing was the ticket counter displayed the confusing sign, credit card only. Wish we had a bigger canopy, it was unbarebly scorching standing in line. Food inside the buildgin was quite good.

Saw a lot of interesting design and art. Would have liked to have more than one day only for the visit. The VIP card certainly helped, relaxing from time to time .
