This was my first time visiting one of the Rock Gem and Bead shows. The show itself was brilliant, unfortunately the location is so difficult to get to. I live about 40 miles from Harrogate, however I don't drive so this is 3 trains away. This time I managed to get someone to drive me, however it meant I was limited on time. It would be great if there was a show in York. I believe there used to be, but doesn't look like there is anymore.But as I said, the show itself was fantastic and the vendors were brilliant.

The show, although there were some fantastic vendors, felt a lot smaller than the Harrogate show (which i was basing my expectations on). Lots of small pieces, tumble stones etc, very few vendors with large pieces and no jaw dropping pieces.
