Parking was so unorganized. Too many shows at the same time with parking taking a long time in the line to check-in. It took us an hour to get parked. Vendors should not have to pay. The booth space is very expensive. And, the bugs like fruit flies, were everywhere. So bad.
Only a few comments. I thought their were way too many vendors with that were selling same items. Also vendors that were selling food were way too expensive. You can purchase a pretzel at Sam’s for less of a dollar. Six dollars for one pretzel is way too expensive. Two dollars for one tamale. All food vendors way too high. A family with young children will have to go get a loan to be able to purchase anything.
As a relatively owner of new home, most of the vendors relating to home improvements was of little need to me at this time. However, I did connect with one window contractor who indicated would contact me in the near future to prepare a proposal. The PainPod vendor was very informative and I purchased items from him. Additionally, I purchased iron garden art, but misplaced his business card. Otherwise I enjoyed seeing and talking with all whom I met during my attendance.
I appreciated the expertise of the vendors with whom I spoke and learned a lot. But with very little focusing on gardening, it would be better to call this event a Home Show, rather than a Home and Garden Show. Otherwise, more gardening exhibits would be appreciated.

I'm curious as to why the event was changed from the Freemen Coliseum to the other buildings. Also, that some of the venders admitted that they didn't know certain details of the event that they needed. For example: they needed to purchase insurance or to put a rug in the booth.
