I know racism is all over but sometimes to be hit right in the face is to much. We were at a stand trying to buy a train set and the seller pretty much ignore us standing there and kept having conversation about how he has to keep explain stuff to customers that walk up. I thought that was his job and the man he was having conversation with was another vendor that had a table next to him. We were the only customers standing at that time mind you standing there at least 10 minutes, so We decided he doesn't need our money that also spends. I guess in the long run his lost, matter fact we decided to just don't spend our money with this group of folks.

The event didn't take place at the location that you listed. There was no expo at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds this past weekend.

Only go with cash because nobody wants your credit card. It would’ve been considerate had Greenberg‘s posted this information prior. Additionally, for the cost of admission, it certainly doesn’t meet the value. I understand it’s a specialty show. But it was poorly executed. With my fire marshal hat on, I was quite bothered that there was only one entrance and one egress. The other doors were blocked or locked. Not very good. Tells me I need to be more vigilant in checking out these small weekend shows.

This event was presented as one with model trains on display and there were really only 2 of those. It was much more about vendors.Many vendors only took cash, too. No hands-on opportunities for children. Understood that nearly all exhibits should be hands off but something touchable for children would be ideal (non breakable, etc).Price for what we got not good value.

Even though, the show was great, I didn’t like the parking situation at all! I paid the $8 fee and there were no shuttle busses around. So, since they moved it to the furthest west building at the State Fairgrounds, I ended up having to walk around a mile each way. And, the in field was extremely wet and muddy! Ridiculous!! So, next year, I may have second thoughts about going to it. First of all, they shouldn’t have 2, or 3 different shows going on all at the same time! Just sayin’!😖😮

Ten years ago we LOVED the LEGO display with the buildings of downtown Columbus. This year we did not like the Halloween display and were not as wowed by the entire display. It was more sets put together instead of the creativity and ingenuity we loved last time. There is definitely a decline in the quality of backdrops and landscaping that the other train displays had as well. Maybe our expectations were too high having gone Ten years ago. We still enjoyed it but were a little disappointed.

Keeps getting smaller each year. I found that lesser advertised train shows have more participants and selection.
