The Congress of the Humanities brings together academics, researchers, policymakers and practitioners interested in sharing their discoveries, perfecting ideas and creating partnerships that will help shape the Canada of tomorrow. This congress theme is building bridges fighting colonialism and anti-black racism. Congress will encourage multidisciplinary mobilization to build bridges, with a focus on the expropriation of indigenous peoples and slavery of Africans in the New World.
