The CPAA Annual Conference, organized by the Community Planning Association of Alberta will take place from 30 April - 2 May, 2018 at the Black Knight Inn in Red Deer, Canada. The Annual Planning Conference is one of the most viable methods the Association uses to implement this mandate. The theme of the 2018 Conference is “IGNITE – Inspire – Collaborate - Implement”. This year’s sessions are all about setting up for success, and being prepared to make it happen. We will discuss how you can be best suited to navigate change. Whether it is the modernized MGA, increasing collaboration with Indigenous communities, protecting your communities from disasters, working cooperatively with your neighbours or preparing your communities for the shifting economy, we will be talking about it!
