Texas Crab Festival

The 2021 Texas Crab Festival returned to Bolivar Peninsula in a big way thanks to the hard work of the board of directors, committees, and sponsors. Over 8000 attended the three-day event that featured live music, carnival rides, shopping and food vendors, and fan favorite the wiener dog races. The annual event, which is held at Festival Park, was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic. Event organizers were pleased with the attendance and attribute good weather as part of the success. Proceeds from the annual Texas Crab Festival and donations from our patrons are reinvested in the community and help fund youth scholarships and camps, local schools and volunteer fire departments, and various outreach initiatives. So while you, your family, and friends are enjoying all the music, art and fabulous food the Texas Crab Festival has to offer, know that you are also helping to give back to our very special and unique community.
