We put “science” back into data science conferences, while creating a ‘safe haven’ meeting space. No sales pitches; no sponsor booths; no recruiting; no overcharging you; no paid advertising; no email needed to see agenda/speakers; no selling your info; no extra charge for presentation slides. This is a conference, not an .. continue reading Expo.Since our first conference in 2015, most of our conferences sell out (Archive page). Next conference in Chicago, May 14-15, 2020, at Gleacher Center. Advisory board, speakers, and attendees come from all fields of business analytics and academia like data science, big data, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or predictive modeling. What brings them here is their common desire to attend an event without being prospected by other attendees.

There will be two coffee/snack breaks in the morning and two after lunch. Network drinks is another network opportunity at the end of the first day of the conference.

Between Registration/Breakfast and noon, there are several 30- or 20-minute presentations with two 20-minute intermissions. 

Coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks are provided all-day-long. The two snack breaks feature high-quality gourmet snacks.

Lunch provided is usually buffet with meat, fish, and vegetarian choices.

The panel is comprised from Advisory Board members (please refer to the official website for a list of currently serving Advisory Board members) and speakers.

​Panel sessions are rather informal, in the sense that we don't have a set agenda of topics to discuss; they are is attendee-driven. Feel free to ask any question you want!

​Even though the specific topics to be discussed are left to our attendees and panelists, the following broad topics could be a good starting point (please refer to FAQ-->What are the broad topics covered?):

​(1) Education for Data Science;

(2) Open Source vs Proprietary Services;

(3) Change Management;

(4) Methods;

(5) Data Science for Social Good; and

(6) Ethics.
