The Development Studies Association promotes and advances international development as a field of study, research and action. The conference will focus centrally on a€œUnsettling Developmenta€, while also encompassing the broad range of development studies interests. The Scientific Committee will now review the proposed panels and convenors will be notified of their decisions by 14 December. DSA 2021 focuses on the theme of unsettling development. We are committed to using the possibilities of new technologies throughout the conference to open sites of interaction, participation and engagement. This means questioning the models and theories shaping our field as well as responding creatively to social change. DSA 2021 does this in three areas of global development: environmental justice, inequality and methodologies.
