Robert J. C. Young is currently a Julius Silver Professor at New York University. He previously held the position of Professor of English and Critical Theory at Oxford University and was a fellow at Wadham College. The Society for Comparative Literature and the Arts is seeking contributions that explore the concept of anger in comparative studies and literary theory. Are anger and victimhood and/or identity politics inherently connected? While proposals related to the conference theme are preferred, all topics are accepted. Panel proposals should be 500 words, while individual abstracts should be 250 words. Please include the names, addresses, and affiliations of all participants in panel proposals.
