efficiency. Prof. Luedeling teaches and researches horticultural sciences, with a focus on fruit tree dormancy and holistic systems modeling. He has experience in agroforestry and agricultural development from his work in Kenya and Bonn. His research interests include the impacts of climate change on temperate fruit trees and agroforestry systems. Prof. Bennett is a developmental biologist and geneticist studying long-distance signaling within plants to regulate growth and development in space and time. His current research focuses on hormonal signals and feedback from developing fruit in coordinating reproductive shoot architecture and floral duration, as well as how plants sense neighboring roots and its impact on shoot development.
