Prof. Roldan obtained her PhD in Physics from the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) summa cum laude in 2001. in Physics with a minor in Materials Science at the University of Oviedo, Spain in 1998. Prof. Roldan’s research program explores the novel physical and chemical properties of size and shape-selected nanostructured materials, with emphasis on advancing the field of nanocatalysis through in situ and operando characterization of catalysts at work.
