The Media, Inequality, and Change (MIC) Center, a collaboration between the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School for Communication and Rutgers University’s School of Communication and Information, will host a conference in partnership with the Union for Democratic Communications. The conference will discuss the role of critical scholarship, media-making, and activism in resisting minority rule and authoritarian movements globally. It aims to engage critical scholars in conversations about reshaping and building a different foundation for the next 40 years of UDC, amidst material and discursive attacks on the left.
