BUILD : Strengthening Systems, Improving Quality, Advancing Equity 2023

The recent decisions made by the Supreme Court will negatively affect the early childhood education workforce and systems change. Our in-person meeting in Anaheim will be postponed to support hotel workers who are without a contract. However, pre-conferences will still be held virtually. The hotel workers, who are predominantly women of color and immigrant women, are requesting higher pay, fair treatment, housing, and respect. The BUILD Initiative stands behind their efforts for fair pay and improved working conditions. If you signed up for a pre-conference, it will still take place virtually as scheduled, with updated hours from 1-4:30 PM ET, including a 30-minute break.
