The standard was developed in part after hearing the stories of people with complex needs who were at risk of coming to harm when crucial information .. Read more about them was not understood or shared. The standard will potentially enable a significant improvement in the tailoring of care provided for individuals and is a starting point for the way care is provided, “It is for the services to adjust to the person, not the other way around.”. During his presentation, Keith will also give a brief overview of how those organisations from social care (such as care homes) can participate in shared care records and show how data protection and cyber security is a core component of the IT solutions. This webinar will be of value to both care management professionals with experience in specific care settings and IT professionals seeking to better understand the environment and challenges of designing and implementing digital services within the health and social care context. Keith has also led award winning national, regional, and local projects to ensure timely and secure information sharing, involving the NHS, Local Authorities, and the Independent Care Sector.
