Better Jefferson will provide safety and mobility improvements for all users along this important corridor, whether walking, bicycling, accessing public transit, or driving. In addition to resurfacing and striping, proposed improvements include sidewalk and ADA upgrades; enhanced pedestrian crossings; traffic signal modernizations; bicycle facilities; traffic calming; and landscaping elements.This virtual meeting will include a formal presentation, online polling and a question and answer period. The public is invited to attend and express opinions concerning this project as part of the public record. Representatives from the City of Memphis will be present to provide information relative to the general location, project history, existing conditions, conceptual design features, the project timeline, and any other matters of public interest. The project is currently in the environmental review phase. This meeting is to be held pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).You will receive a link to access the meeting after completing registration.
