She is the author of the book Teen Fandom and Geek Programming with Rowman & Littlefield and her new book Digital Citizenship: Teaching and Practice from the Field comes out in fall 2019. She is the founder of Digital Respons-Ability, a mission-based company that educates students, parents, and educators on digital citizenship. She is also a college instructor and event planner who regularly writes on technology for various media outlets.
