Rwanda is poised to host the Global Engineering Conference (GECO) and the Executive Council Annual Meeting , in partnership with the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) from October 15 to 18, 2024, at Kigali Convention Centre. The Conference brings over 1000 high level delegates from Africa and Beyond to discuss industry prospects, challenges and set future direction in diverse engineering disciplines.This timely event organised in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER) underscores the importance of engineering expertise in shaping the future of engineering field in line with the global challenges and the latest technological advancements. The role of sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the sector growth of the engineering field aligned with Rwanda's national development agenda, particularly SDGS 4,6,7,9,11 and 13.
