5-Day Discovery Public Speaking 2025

I've just arrived home from a fantastic week away in London, taking part in an intensive, 5-day public speaking course with the College of Public Speaking. The course was led by Vince Stevenson, Trainer and Executive Speech Coach, who gave constructive and encouraging feedback throughout the week and taught us how to reflect on our speaking performances. The group was diverse and we all brought something different, this taught us how subjective public speaking is, and how striving for perfection cannot work because perfection doesn't exist. It was a thoroughly insightful and inspiring week and such an interesting way to get to know a group of people who were all strangers on Monday. I am thankful to the Royal Academy of Engineering ELS programme, which enabled me to do this training, to all the other participants for sharing such interesting stories over the week, and of course to Vince Stevenson for leading us on this journey.
