feminist ethics, moral thought, and global discussions surrounding gender equality. With the backdrop of the ongoing discourse on sexual violence and the backlash against gender equality claims, this conference seeks to investigate how the #MeToo movement has transformed the landscape of feminist scholarship, state policies, and its intersections with other social movements.
Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts of 250 words that engage with various aspects of feminist ethics and value theory, feminist political theory, and activism related to the #MeToo movement. Topics of interest include but are not limited to intersectional analyses of #MeToo, its local and international implications, and the evolving social and moral norms influenced by feminist activism. The conference will feature parallel sessions with multiple speakers, providing a platform for vibrant discussions. Each speaker will present their work for twenty minutes, followed by a ten-minute discussion period. Registration is required before a specified deadline, with a sliding scale fee to accommodate graduate students and early-career researchers. This event promises to be a pivotal gathering for scholars at all career levels to engage in meaningful dialogue about the future of feminist ethics in the context of #MeToo.
