First held in Verona, Italy in 2017 and subsequently in various global locations, QTML has established itself as a key platform for disseminating innovative ideas and research findings. The past editions were hosted in Durban, South Africa (2018), Daejeon, South Korea (2019), and virtually in 2020 by Zapata Computing and in 2021 by RIKEN-AIP. More recently, the conference took place in Naples (2022) and at CERN (2023). The upcoming edition in 2024 will be hosted in Melbourne, Australia, and the ninth edition, QTML 2025, is set to take place at the Centre for Quantum Technologies in Singapore. The call for papers for QTML 2025 is now open, inviting contributions on a wide array of topics including: quantum algorithms for machine learning applications, hybrid quantum-classical approaches for optimization, encoding and processing data in quantum systems, and many more cutting-edge themes. Accepted abstracts from the submissions will be featured in the conference either as short or long talks, with alternate options for poster presentations if not selected for the main agenda.
