workshop, participants will explore how tarot can be utilized to challenge and subvert the oppressive systems of white supremacist-capitalist-imperialist-patriarchy. Christopher's approach weaves together historical context and spiritual practice, providing a comprehensive overview of tarot that moves beyond traditional frameworks.
The workshop is structured over two days. On the first day, participants will delve into the radical epistemology of tarot, learning to read the cards in ways that shift authority and empower individuals to reclaim their narratives. The second day focuses on practical applications, guiding participants on how to conduct readings for themselves and others. Christopher will share insights on the consultation space of a tarot reading, comparing it with formal therapeutic sessions, and equipping attendees with the confidence to navigate the tarot spread from a multifaceted perspective. This workshop encourages participants to bring their experiences, questions, tarot decks, and intentions, fostering a collaborative and enriching environment. While the workshop is open to all levels of tarot enthusiasts, a basic understanding of tarot will enhance the overall experience.
