You are cordially invited to attend the joint event of the International PalaeoArc Conference and NORDQUA Excursion in Akureyri, northern Iceland. The conference will take place in the Hof cultural center, followed by a 3-day NORDQUA excursion in northern Iceland. We welcome members of both programs to join us for both parts of the event. Akureyri, known as the capital of the north, is a charming town with a population of 20,000. It offers a wide range of entertainment, art, and cultural activities while still maintaining a close connection to nature. Situated in a fjord surrounded by mountains and glacial landforms, there is much to explore both within the town and in the surrounding countryside.
