The panel discussion - moderated by Nadine Pungs - was a highlight of HUTTENTAG 2023. The participants were Dr. Martin Theuringer, Managing Director of the German Steel Industry Association, Dr. Peter Maagh, Board Member of Dillinger and Saarstahl, and Felix Schmitz, CEO of Kloeckner Metals Germany.Around 320 participants and 26 exhibitors and sponsors followed the call to Essen. They all heard exciting keynotes and specialist presentations; the keynotes laid the foundation for the day. They examined the requirements of the steel industry on the way to green steel, securing the technological lead of Germany as an industrial location, and green steel from the customer's perspective.
