SCAMS Summit

The Scams Summit aims to explore the reasons behind the increasing scam activities and the deeper fraudulent schemes that are causing financial and personal losses to Australians. It will also discuss the global targeting of Australia by scammers and the national security implications. The summit will feature a diverse speaker faculty who will provide insights into the rising scam trends and propose solutions to address them. Rob Neely, Director and Founder of a scam prevention company, will present the findings of their recent survey, revealing that the actual cost of scams is $9.2bn, contradicting the ACCC's estimate of $3.1bn. He will also argue that the Commonwealth Governments National Anti-Scam Centre alone will not be able to put an end to this pervasive problem.
