GUIS seminars feature faculty members and occasionally outside speakers who share their personal journeys in academia, focusing on the challenges faced by young scientists. The seminars aim to normalize discussing these challenges and provide support for current academic trainees. Events are usually held from 3-4pm in the James Lin and Nisa Leung Seminar Room (E153) of the Neuro/ChEM-H building. The target audience includes undergraduates, post-bac technicians, graduate students, post-docs, lab managers, and other in-training research support staff.
