Annual Conference of Tamilnadu and Pondicherry Association of Plastic Surgeons

We are entrusted with the job of "turning the clock back" in the history of TANPAPS. That means we have only 6 months to organize the annual conference TANPAPS. We are making necessary arrangements to conduct the event at Tirunelveli. The venue will be the medical college campus. With in the campus we have the state of the art central lecture theatre complex with multiple centrally air-conditioned auditorium type lecture halls and dining halls. We are planning to have the presentations in two .. continue reading halls simultaneously, so that there will be no need to short list the free papers which are the real source of new ideas. Rare cases are unique plastic surgical problems that are often not part of the main stream presentations in conferences.We will be happy to devote a session on rare case reports, be it rare diagnosis, rare surgery, rare outcome or rare complication. Though we learn to perform various plastic surgical procedures during our residency and early formative years, the rest of our productive career is spent on reforming our techniques. But, even to a true seeker the perfection eludes in plastic surgery. We will be requesting the learned faculty to deliver their lectures in sync with the theme "The enigmatic last mile in plastic surgery—the track, the hurdles, the jumps and the falls"
