International Conference on Science and Technology of Ironmaking and Steelmaking

Science and Technology of lronmaking and Steelmaking (STIS) series of conferences, held once every four years, is an Indian initiative, the major objective of which is to create and sustain interest in ironmaking and steelmaking. India has emerged as the world's second largest steel producer. The steel production in India needs to match the pace with rapidly growing Indian economy. At the same time, India is also committed to achieve the global environmental goals through sustainable and green steel production. To achieve these goals, academicians, researchers and industrial experts from all over the world have to discuss and deliberate on innovative approaches and solutions on a common platform.
