Sustainability Conference

The environmental council of the University of Akureyri announces the date for the 3rd sustainability conference at the University of Akureyri. The conference will be held in hybrid format, to accommodate both on-site interaction but also online, environmental friendly participation of international participants. The conference language is English. The topics we want to include are plastic waste, waste water, (over)fishing, fish-farming, and climate change in general, but other topics are welcome, as well. It is also a tradition that this conference includes a 1 hour student session that is organized by students for students and focuses on student projects and student contributions to environmental development and research at Universities, from Bachelor to PhD level. Students who want to contribute are welcome to contact our student representative.
