Read more graduated from Yale Law School, where he served as notes editor for the Yale Law Journal and as a student director of the Yale Supreme Court Clinic. Blake Stafford is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department. He focuses his practice on Supreme Court and appellate litigation and also assists with strategic analysis and complex briefing in high-stakes trial court litigation. Prior to joining Latham full-time, Blake was a summer associate in the Washington, D.C. office and clerked for Judge Jay S. Bybee of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Blake earned his JD at Wake Forest University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and first in his class. He also competed as a member of Wake Forest’s national moot court team, which won the overall National Championship and the Best Brief Award at the NYC Bar Association National Moot Court Competition.
