In view of the uncertain scenario for the coming months, we inform that 2020 Brazil International Coffee Week will be held, from 18 to 20 November, .. Read more in a 100% digital format. We reinforce that we are committed to holding a digital event with the pillars that make Brazil ICW one of the five largest coffee events in the world with business, opportunities, relationships and connections for the coffee chain. CONAB (The National Supply Company) has estimated approximately 60 million coffee bags in 2020/2021. Minas Gerais, the largest coffee producer state in Brazil, also concentrates the largest coffee production area, with 1.22 million hectares, which corresponds to 69.8% occupied area of country’s arabica coffee. In this year the Brazil International Coffee Week will be held in 100% digital format. Even with this new format, the ICW will continue offering more than 40 simultaneous events, like DNA Coffee, a seminar that experts explain about trends and challenges inside coffee industry; Sustainable Coffee Forum, which is an event about sustainable actions taken in coffee-growing and its next steps; courses, meetings, and a lot of content for the whole coffee chain. I managed to make many good connections with not just producers, but all coffee industry related people.
