Read more adult social care providers due to Covid-19 are estimated to cost £6.6 billion. As the care sector looks to recover from the pandemic, local government and other care providers must adapt existing services and develop new strategies to continue supporting individuals and their families in meeting demand for adult social care. This conference will address real concerns for local authorities, care homes and service providers in delivering adult social care. The latest initiatives and collaborative approaches will be outlined from national and local actors in social care to help meet the needs of older people. Participants will be able to share their challenges and solutions to improving adult social care through networking, practical case studies and ideas for moving forward. This session will provide attendees with the opportunity to discuss the main challenges they face in delivering adult social care services within existing budgets, allowing them to share their experiences and encourage cross sector collaboration.
