About Followers Reviews Exhibitors Photos Speakers

The IAS–USA offers this state-of-the-art activity on the evolving challenges of managing HIV disease as part of a nationwide continuing medical education (CME) effort for physicians. Maintenance of a high level of physical function is a cornerstone in the care of the older patient. Impairments in physical function and the development of frailty may occur more commonly in adults aging with HIV compared to the general population. This webinar will review the clinical relevance of physical function and frailty measures, provide insight into appropriate tools for different settings, and review interventions that may attenuate (deleted d in attenuated to make present tense) or improve physical function impairments or frailty.
