There is now not only the imperative to restore full-service provision while being ready for future waves of the virus, but to build on this learning to bring about positive change and renewal so that the health and care system can support improved health and wellbeing for everyone, well beyond this crisis. The health service is seeing an extraordinary investment of an additional €4billion in 2021. Going into its 17th year, the National Health Summit has been a key event for senior leaders within the entire health eco-system. It’s a forum that brings together the full range of stakeholders in our public health service to learn, network and share knowledge and experience. This event is attended by the range of healthcare stakeholders including policy-makers, leaders and managers in healthcare management and delivery, clinical leaders, patient advocates, researchers, academics, economists, service providers to the healthcare sector.
