Michelle attended Mount St. Vincent University where she obtained her Bachelors of Education. Michelle had the amazing opportunity to teach a small hamlet in a Northern Nunavut community in the Kivalliq region for four and a half years. Afterwards, she moved to Ottawa with her family to work for the Assembly of First Nations, serving her people on all Indigenous issues for eight-and-a-half years. She then was recruited to work on The National Commission Inquiry into Murdered and Missing Indigenous Girls and Women, where she completed their mandate. Once the Inquiry was complete, Michelle joined the team here at Jordan’s Principle as the Manager of Operations.
