The UK science festival ecosystem is diverse and constantly evolving, and never more so than at present, but we rarely take the time to celebrate what we have achieved or to look ahead to some of the challenges and opportunities for the sector. This is where the UK Science Festivals Network come in - we bring together science festivals and non-science festivals with scientific content to consider the highs, lows and future of festival organisation and management. What Following the success of the last year's UKSFN Conference, where we convened in-person in London, we’re back for the fourth time. This year you will be able to join from the comfort of your own home, as we will be gathering online via Hopin to discuss how the science engagement sector has been rising to the challenges and opportunities presented by COVID-19, learn how we can listen to and build trust within our communities, and acquire the practical skills to foster inclusivity in our science events as we look ahead to the coming year. In addition to more structured sessions, you can expect plenty of opportunities to network with your fellow conference attendees in new and creative ways.
